Philly Cheesefake sandwiches

Makes 2

  • 2 hoagie rolls

  • 1 large bell pepper

  • 1 large portobello mush cap

  • 1 medium sweet onion

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • A dash of cayenne pepper and salt

  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • ¼ cup shredded vegan cheese

Cut veggies into strips

Oil skillet and add veggies. Cook until the onions begin to caramelize. Add spices and let simmer.

Toast buns

Add the veggie filling to the rolls and sprinkle cheese on top.

Optional: garnish with fresh cilantro, tomatoes, or jalapeños
